Joy Victoria Whittaker, known by audiences as Grandma Joy, is a storyteller,motivational speaker,
theater performer, and Bible teacher. She has published an inspirational book, Grandma Joy's Hope for Hurting Women,
which includes mini stories of hope. Grandma Joy performs at numerous schools, churches, and community functions.

Mrs. Johnson is a songwriter and also writes local plays. Her play, "When Wrong Stares
You in the Face, Do What's Right," has been performed in Duplin and Wayne Counties. Her daughter, Brittany also writes
